The Association of Faculties of Medicine of Canada (AFMC) and the Norlien Foundation have partnered to fund and support the development of e-learning tools on addictions for undergraduate medical education. As a part of this initiative, a podcast series on early brain & biological development and addiction has been created.

Abstract: A new podcast series on addiction was produced with topics including core concepts of early child development, epigenetics, intervention and treatment strategies, and system responses to addiction. Each podcast starts with specific learning objectives linked to core competencies for undergraduate medical students. Participants will have the opportunity to listen to the podcasts and provide feedback and input on how they can be integrated into the undergraduate program.
