Communities

The Canadian Healthcare Education Commons provides an online workspace for groups to collaborate. The work environment includes a group wiki, blog, virtual library, event calendar, discussion forum and notification features. Any member of the Commons can create, manage and moderate a community. User access to a community can range from site-wide to private. Access to a community is established by the community manager and can be designated as:

Open (all users have access to the community and its resources),
Moderated (users may request membership in the community)
Private(users can access content and contribute content.)
