This Community is a forum for educators to explore learning opportunities on the topic of professionalism for undergraduate medical students. The Community is the product of the Professionalism Working Group, a collaboration of Ontario's six medical schools and the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO).
The Community contains learning modules that have been submitted by medical schools from across Canada. The hope is that as the Community grows, further submissions will be received and incorporated into the Community for sharing and use. All modules have been submitted with the permission of the authors and educators are free to use them under the Creative Commons License.
The learning modules have been organized using the framework for Professionalism that was developed and distributed by the CPSO. The framework organizes the concept of professionalism around the various roles and responsabilities that physicians have, as professionals, within the concepts of compassion, service, altruism and trustworthiness.
