Discussion forum and listserv for members of the AFMC Informatics Resource Group
The AFMC Informatics Resource Group (IRG), previously known as the Medical Informatics Resource Group, has gradually coalesced from the work of a number of individuals attending the annual meeting who were interested in pursuing collaborations between schools in the area of technology-mediated education. It has been recognized as a resource group of the AFMC and now involves participants from all AFMC affiliate organizations. The group was originally led by Dr. David Fleiszer from McGill, followed by Dr. Ben Chen from Queens and then Dr.
The IT Group is a subgroup of the AFMC Informatics Resource Group, and is open to IT professionals at AFMC medical schools.

Developing a learning framework to facilitate improved knowledge and information use in a clinical practice environment
This Community has initially been established to support the CLIFF workshop at CCME 2011. It is anticipated that this will develop into an ongoing resource for further work in this area.
Integration of Simulation activities, learning approaches and resources using a sophisticated middleware layer
HSVO is a virtual organisation, formed to develop a variety of tools and approaches to support the integration of simulation services, resources and activities that promote excellence in health professional education and care delivery.
A collaborative network of colleges, universities, schools of medicine, nursing and other health professional education towards improved simulation.
The NOSHN group encompasses all of the organisations in Northern Ontario who provide health professional education. The Network's mandate is to support and improve the use of simulation, in all its forms, in health professional education. The Network includes several regional hospital groups, and is happy to include other organisations who are involved in clinical simulation.
The Network is collaborative in all its activities and has fostered inter-institutional activities and knowledge sharing in clinical simulation.
Simulation of all types and approaches, relevant to education in medicine and clinical skills
