First Nations and Inuit eHealth Infostructure Program (eHIP)

The objective of the First Nations and Inuit Health Branch (FNIHB) eHealth Infostructrure Program (eHIP) evaluation was to assess the relevance and performance of the program for the five-year period from 2006/07 to 2010/2011. The results of the evaluation will provide the Health Canada Deputy Minister and senior management with a comprehensive and reliable base of evidence to support decisions regarding the eHip's present and future initiatives.

The Public Health Physicians of Canada Residents Council has produced an informative video series addressing this question and others.  Learn about this important medical field through the reflections of public health and preventive medicine physicians (PHPM) as they share why they chose PHPM, their most interesting experiences, where they see public health going in the next 10 – 15 years, and their advice to learners interested to explore the field.
