Beware of Emails that look familiar

Brenda Du Plessis's picture

Windows has a vulnerability that will be fixed November 8th. In the meantime beware of emails that look innocent, they usually include some personal information to trick you into thinking they are legit, and usually include malicious links or attachments.

The best reaction is to simply delete the email. If you have any reservations, still delete the email and contact the company by using the correct email or telephone number on the web, not in the email.
